Future’s “thoughts” personified with a scanned figure envisioning the imminent future, aimed to depict abstract thoughts in a passive-aggressive, ominous, yet suggestive manner.

This process was experimented with blending digital visuals and physical mediums to convey these ideas. Melanie often explores a blend of digital and physical mediums in her work, this story centers around the personification of a digital entity that once existed in her device.

The final edition was exhibited and archived at the MET, under the Thomas J. Watson Library.
